Short (Research) Bio

I studied electrical engineering and information technology at the Technical University of Munich, focussing on image and audio processing as well as embedded systems. I received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in 2014 and 2017, respectively. As student, I worked in the R&D departments at MAN Truck & Bus as well as Arnold & Richter Cine Technik (ARRI).
In 2018, I joined ARRI to research approximate computing methods for improving the resource efficiency of digital motion picture cameras and completed my doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing.) at the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology in 2023.
