I grew up while music cassettes and VHS died out and the internet became a thing.

Music and photography became two different but equally important forms of creative expression and vessels to capture the memory of otherwise elusive moments and feelings. I never went to pursue any of these arts professionally but I regularly turn back at them when I need some creative offset - especially as photography integrates nicely with my wanderlust.

My fascination of computational systems and their design began to develop in high school, where I started with first steps in coding simple robot control systems. At university, I focussed my scientific interests into the areas of embedded systems and media processing. Especially the latter enables me to develop tools that are used by creatives to produce art which quite nicely connects with my affinity to the creative realm.
